For the quantitative determination of HDL cholesterol in serum and plasma
PRINCIPLE :
HDL-Cholesterol is obtained trough selective precipitation of LDL and VLDL lipoproteins, thus HDL lipoproteins remain in solution. HDL-Cholesterol in supernatant is treated as a sample for cholesterol assay
